Log In Agreement

The e-learning materials contained in this website shall only be used for educational purposes by authorized members of staff and students of the LKS Faculty of Medicine, The University of Hong Kong. Parents/legal guardians of minors involved in the video materials have agreed to participate in the teaching activities and the video recording for the sole purpose of medical education. Minors, to the extent their maturity and intelligence allow, involved in the said materials have also provided assent to do so.

With respect to the use of the e-learning and video materials contained in this website, the user understands the following and agrees to undertake the responsibilities and duties with respect to the access, use and handling of the said materials:

1. The user should not retain, disclose, reproduce, transfer or distribute, perform or display, in parts or in full, the said materials without explicit permission from the Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, LKS Faculty of Medicine, The University of Hong Kong.
2. The user should ensure that unauthorized persons do not have access to the information contained in the said materials by any means or in any format, and that there are adequate safeguards against improper disclosure.
3. The user should view and/or listen to the said materials at a place reasonably secure from any access or viewing by any unauthorized persons.
4. The user should have due regard to the responsibilities and potential liabilities under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of the Law of Hong Kong with respect to the handling of personal data and the protection of personal privacy.
5. The user should understand that any act, omission or attempt that breaches, or has caused to breach this agreement shall be reported to the LKS Faculty of Medicine, The University of Hong Kong and shall potentially be subject to legal actions in accordance with the law pertaining to intellectual property rights and/or the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance in Hong Kong.
